Minutes:
- Ali notified about the update of the kayaking event. He mentioned the following issues: i) The Ocean kayak center does not allow more than 8 people in a group, ii) for more number of people we have to hire a tour guide, Ali will notify about the cost of tour guide later on iii) Single person can book up to 4 kayaks
- Ali also mentioned that the total number of available kayaks is 11 double kayak and 22 single kayaks
- Original price without taxes in their Tuesday deal, $12.50 per person for double kayak and $20 per person for single kayak
- Ali said he will draft an email for the event, mentioning the following prices after subsidizing: 1, ECE Grad students –$8 double kayaks, $ 16 single kayaks 2, Non ECE members: $14 double $22 single kayak
- Cara said she will sell tickets for the event on next Wednesday 1:00-2:00 pm
- Sabrina said she will sell tickets on next Thursday 4:00-5:00 pm.
- For the outdoor sports event, Ghasem will contact with Ahmed Ashoori for Soccer and will try to draft an email for sports event soon
- The committee decided to have the meeting with the department regarding student survey result next Wednesday and Thursday.
- Sabrina said she will draft the email for the opening of nomination period for the election in new positions created in the amendment
